You might have already noticed it in the studio, the small, unassuming chair with springs. The Pilates Chair is one of the classic Pilates apparatuses and surprisingly versatile. It is now part of our course offerings: Mat & Chair Pilates.
In this class, we combine exercises on the mat with sequences on the Chair. This creates a varied workout that focuses on strength, stability, and control.
The Chair adds a unique dimension to your training. The springs provide resistance that challenges your muscles, especially your core, but also your legs, arms, and shoulders. At the same time, it helps you perform movements more consciously and precisely.
By combining mat work with the Chair, we can vary the pace and intensity – sometimes calm and controlled, sometimes more challenging. Every session is a little different.
To ensure enough individual attention, the class is limited to a maximum of four participants. This allows us to focus on alignment, technique, and your personal development during the session.
An introductory class is required before attending Mat & Chair Pilates. In this session, you’ll get to know the equipment and receive guidance on breathing, alignment, and essential safety principles.
If you have already completed the introductory class, you can, of course, sign up directly for the group sessions.
If you already enjoy Pilates and are looking for a new challenge, the Chair is a perfect addition to your studio training.
